At Highland Maine Coon, the health and well-being of our kittens come first. We are committed to responsible breeding, transparency, and lifetime support for every family who adopts from us. To give you complete peace of mind, we proudly offer a clear and comprehensive health guarantee.

🐾 Veterinary Care & Health Standards

All of our kittens are:

• Examined by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our home

• Vaccinated with age-appropriate core vaccines

• Dewormed on a regular schedule

• Litter-trained and eating solid food

• Sent home with a complete record of all veterinary care

• Provided with a starter kit and transition support

We do not allow kittens to leave before 10–14 weeks of age, ensuring proper development, socialization, and immune strength.

✅ 72-Hour Initial Health Guarantee

We require all buyers to have their kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery.

If a licensed veterinarian identifies a life-threatening health condition (not caused by injury, accident, or neglect after transfer), we will provide:

• A full refund or

• A replacement kitten (if available)

This requires the return of the kitten along with a written veterinary report.

🧬 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We guarantee our kittens against life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects for one (1) year from the date of birth.

If such a condition is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, we will:

• Offer a replacement kitten of equal value from a future litter
  OR

• Provide a partial refund if you choose to keep your kitten

We may request proper documentation and/or a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choosing.

⚠️ Health Guarantee Does Not Cover

• Minor, treatable conditions (e.g., parasites, mild upper respiratory infections, minor skin issues)

• Illness or injury caused by improper care, accidents, or unsafe environments

• Reactions to vaccinations or routine veterinary treatments

• Conditions that are not genetic or life-threatening
